Indy's pirate ship of... pirates...and Muppets! 1

[Indy]

((Muppets? Yes, cuz I says so! Yes you heard it here first folks, MY ship, Not JackSparrow's, not Bryn's, not Capitan Smollet's--No offence Kermit-- but MINE! Wee! Okay, so I'm in a hyper mood and need to go to bed... So you can be a muppet or yourself or a character or even a character from another movie, I've got my character married and ex'ed of Sean Altman, William H. Bonney, aka Billy the Kid (Young Guns 1 & 2), and currently, but seperated Roy O'Bannon (Shanghai Noon) but I would like to keep out PotC characters, with the small exception and possible cameo of Jack, cuz we already have a thread for that. And this is a way different Indy from the one in the PotC thread... No Cypher... and a bit... Well she's different. So there. Blah.))


Capitan Indy Sparrow-Altman-Bonney-O'Bannon-and a few other names she'd not like to put in there, stood at the wheel of her very nice looking ship andbreathed in the saltly sea air. She had docked for supplies and more crew members, since nearly every one of them had either died or left her for their own selfish purposes. Unhappy though she was, she did like scarin--er meeting new people. Her ruputation claimed she was malevolent, but that was only if you angered her...

Captian Indy Sparrow, as she was most commonly called, was also rumored to be a little... strange. On account of her brother's own actions. However she did not find her self strange in the least and meandered into the nearest tavern for an early drink and prospective men, and ladies, for her crew. Of course she would have women on board, which always made it a bit difficult to find men to travel with them. Good saliors at any rate. Drunken slobs would usually vollenteer; but she informed them quickly she ran no floating brothel. If they couldn't sober up with a few buckets of water, she didnt want them.

"What can I get for you, ma'am?" A short blue creature with a protuding hooked nose asked her from behind the counter. She sat at the bar and smiled at him.

"Pint of rum, please, thank you. Oh and two eggs over medium on toast."

The... whatever nodded and called out behind him, "One pint of rum and Adam and Even on a raft, Riz!"

A mutter came from the back room and a few moments later her drink and food seemed to float from the back room to the bar. The blue creature took them, revealing a rat underneith and placed them on the counter. The rat blew on his hands, then took off down the bar to take another order.

"Need anything else, ma'am?"

"Just a crew. And a fork."

"Oh! Right. Sorry." He bent under the bar for the fork and wiped it off on his shirt. "Here you are."

"Thanks." Indy took the fork and began eating her food.

"So a crew, eh?" She nodded. "Well, you are in luck! My friend Rizzo and I have been looking for a capitan!" Indy looked up.

"You have?"

"Yep. Isn't that right Rizzo?"

"Yeah, yeah sure." The rat answered, obviously not paying attention.

"So do you think you could use us?"

"I suppose." Indy took a sip of rum. "What are your qualifications?"

"Um... I can tell where to go by the stars.. And I don't eat much.. But Rizzo does, dont hold that against him, he is a rat, you know."

"Yes, I see."

"AndI'm not afraid to be in the line of danger.. but Rizzo is...sometimes. Don't hold that againsthim either, he's a really nice guy. Not to mention we're increddibly cute!" He smiled at her, hopeful.

She gave him an odd look. "What's your name?"

"Gonzo the Great. Or The Great Gonzo, either/or."

"Well," She pokedat her food, the yoke running into the toast now, "Gonzo, welcome abord The Dark Diamond."

"Wow... The Dark Diamond! What a name for a ship! Hey, Riz-- Oh Rizzo can come, cant he?" She nodded, Gonzo continued to rave in his excitement, "Hey Rizzo! We're gonna be on a real live ship! We're finally gonna leave this dump!! ...That has great food and low, low prices!"

The Capitan smiled and chuckled a little to herself, taking another bite of breakfast. She wondered if finding the other crew member would be this easy, especially now that this creature had announced it.

((mhmm...so Jack Sparrow is in this? I can play him, right? And they can meet up in the tavern! lol and If I can't use him, I'll modify this post and put a diffrent name in!))

Faith Sparrow looked out into the ocean from the deck, "Where're we goin?"

"Eh...places," Jack said.

"You can't be more specific?" Faith asked annoyed.

"I can," Jack replied, "when I wanna be."

Faith laughed and walked over and stood next to Jack. Her curly jet-black blowing in the wind, her dark forest green peering around her.

"There's a dock up there, looks like Indy's there," Faith said.

"Then lets dock there! Our ship could use some repairs.." Jack trailed off.

Faith walked down to the lower decks and changed quickly. On a ship, she wore her pirate clothes, but in public, she still wore er pirate clothes, but to a lesser extent.

Jack pulled up to the dock just as Faith came upstairs. They walked off the ship together and walked into the Tavern, looking around for Indy.

[Indy]

(Yeah okay, sure. And there's no REAL time line for this, but basically in the before the 1900s period. I mean Indy's last husband was, or still is, really Roy O'Bannon, who at the time was about 24/25 (going by the timeline for Shanghai Noon/Knights) in 1881. But Jack didn't met Will in 1881 as we're all aware of, so... It's just... A long, long time ago...) (But Muppets can use mordern references, cuz they're Muppets. Not all of them do, but the rats in particular do.)


Indy finished her breakfast and as Gonzo took her plate and empty drink away, she spoke. "I'll be leaving by nightfall, with you and your rat friend with me or not."

"So you're letting rats onto the ship now?" A voice spoke behind her.

Indy smiled, and turned, "Well, dear brother, I've let you on, haven't I?"

Jack gave her an glare, then hugged her. "It's good to see you again, Indy. You remember Faith, don't you?"

"Of course I do." Indy said and then hugged Faith.

"So where's that blonde husband of yours we last saw you with?"

"Roy and I had a fight. I left. He's still in America."

"Oh, Indy, that's too bad." Faith gave her a sympathatic look. Indy shrugged.

"Never liked the guy anyway." Jack said. "So what are you doing here?"

"Looking for crew members of course." Indy said.

Jack sighed, "Love, you really need to stick with the people you have."

"Well I can't help it if they go and throw themselves overboard or refuse to listen to my rules." She defended, nearly outraged her brother would say such a thing to her.

A girl was on the deck of the ship The Fearless. She was about 17 or 18. She had long wavy blonde hair and deeo blue eyes. She saw a ship not too far away. She wanted to go on it, but she couldn't, that was the ship they were chasing.

[Indy]

(And from now on I'm gonna write in Rizzo's accent cuz it's awful easy to write in and he's got an accent like no one else in the story. He's from NY.)

"Gonzo! Are you crazy?!" Rizzo raved following Gonzo upstairs to their beds in the living area they shared with the rest of the tavern workers who had no where else to go. Gonzo unlocked and openedhis and Rizzo's trunk, packing the items they had out and some he really didn't need on the voyage he threw away.

"Don't be silly, Rizzo. I know you want to go just as much as I do."

"She's a pirate! P-I-R-A--"

"I know! I can spell."

"Plus she's a woman! Dat's even woirse bad luck den bein' on a big ship in da middle of th' ocean!"

Gonzo sighed and turned to his friend, "Look, I don't like being here anymore. I need a change of scenery. I'm going wheater you want to or not." Rizzo's mouth fell open in shock as Gonzo continued packing. "Besides, she's pretty good lookin' if you ask me."

"You--You would do dat to me?! LEAVE ME HERE?!" Rizzo began hyperventalating. Gonzo shut the trunk.

"Well, not if you go with me. I've already packed your stuff so it'll just be easyier if you said yes." HE locked the trunk.

"How could you?! How Could You?!" Rizzo calmed down a bit, then spoke reluctently, "...Okay."

"Great! C'mon help me carry the trunk down stairs. We'll have to load this thing onto Capitan Indy Sparrow's ship by night fall or she'll leave with out us." Gonzo lifted one end, leaving Rizzo to the other. They strengously walked downstairs and out door to the ports.

Samantha stood looking around the strange town after her ship had docked. Her father told her to go explore, so she decided to. Samantha saw a tavern.
"A tavern" she thought to herself. "I've never been in one before!"
So being the curious girl she was, she went inside.

[Indy]

Gonzo and Rizzo finished packing their trunk in The Dark Diamond and decided to go back to the tavern. They could at least finish a days work and get their final wages for this one, Rizzo reasoned. Gonzo wanted to jump into their soon-to-be adventure, but the Capitan wasn't ready yet and it was just 9 AM.

"Hey maybe if we help find crew members for her, she'll be ready to go sooner!" Gonzo said, nrightening up at his own genuis idea.

"Why would we wanna leave sooner?"

"I do! Anyways, if we help her out we'll probably get special treatment!"

"Does special treatment mean extra rations?"

"Yeah, I guess--"

"Does the cappy take women aboard?"

"I should think so. She's one herself."

"Oh right. Hey! Hey you!" Rizzo scurried to the blond girl entering the tavern, Gonzo followed quickly after. He didn't see Indy around.

[zilla]

Samantha spun around and saw little creatures coming towards her. She had never seen such things and screamed loudly. "Get away from me!" she cried backing up.
Gonza and Rizzo were confused, so they came closer.
"Stay away from me!!" Samantha shreiked.

[Indy]

"Sheesh... Nev'ah seen a rat before?" Rizzo said and backed away.

Gonzo however came closer, holding his hands out trying to calm her down, "It's okay we're not gonna rob you or hurt you! We're..um, going to be, very soon, pirates and we wanted to know if you would like to join our crew." HE stopped a few feet away from her, deciding that was a good distance.

Samantha looked around and saw that their were other creatures around like them. Well, not so much like these two in particular, although she did see some rats walking about, but similar. People, dogs, monster-looing-things, Pigs, a few bears, but not many, and even a few frogs, and somethings she couldn't tell what they were. For instance this creature in front of her.

"What are you?" She asked calming down a bit.

"Pirates!" Rizzo piped up cheerfully.

"No, I think she means.. Um, okay. What's your name?" Gonzo asked.

"Samantha."

"Okay, Samatha, thisis my friend Rizzo. He's a rat and I'm Gonzo. I don't know what I am, but we're Muppets. I'm guessing you've never seen our specises before, how you've acted, but we're just like you... Exceptfor the cats. They're like regular cats, only they look different." Gonzo shrugged.

"Yeah but dey chase rats just da same..." Rizzo said bitterly and shivered.

Faith smiled at the bickering brother and sister, "Now now you two, we all need to stay sane here."

Jack glared at Faith, "We know!"

This only caused Faith to start laughing.

"What is it now?!" Jack cried.

"You!" Faith said.

"Me?" Jack asked.

"You're just so funny when you're mad," she responded, kissing his nose.

"Ugh, please, not around me you two," Indy said.

"Sorry Indy," Faith smiled, "So, need any help finding crew members?"

[Indy]

"Well, I suppose I could use some help. But I just got here and I've already gotten two, so I think I'll do fine!" Indy said.

"Yes, we saw." Jack nodded and smiled a bit.

Indy frowned again, jutting her finger into Jack's chest, "I'll have you know Capitan Sparrow--" Jack smiled at her, mouthing a 'thank you' and nodded, "I'll have you know that Muppets are just as well-bodied crew members as humans are!"

Jack paused for a moment, "You didn't marry one did you?"

"No! She's still married to Roy!" Faith interjected. "Aren't you?"

"Yes, yes, we just seperated, we didn't divorce." Indy nodded over toGonzo and Rizzo who were talking to a girl near the doorway. "See, my crew members are already helping me out."

"Or flirting. She's a very attractive girl, do you--Not so lovely as you, though, Faith--Do you really think they're trying to get her to come aboard your ship? She looks as if she doesnt know the first thing about sailing!" Jack crossed his arms.

[Annael]

a girl sat in the corner, her hat pulled low over her eyes. she walked over to indy.

-be you takin crew on that their ship o'yours?

indy - yes i am

-aye. that be good. my name is catherine. catherine o'connel, but most everybody calls me caty or cat. *takes hat off and carrot red hair flows out, it brought out her emerald eyes* i be a sturdy hand at the wheel. been shippin since i was a wee brabin.


(ive never played an irish lass before, thought it might be fun! oh, and i'll play a muppet too... um... ooo! miss pggy!)

a small porkish (piggy - watch it bub!), i mean, small gorgeous (piggy - thats better) pig walked up to indy as well.

piggy - aha! excuse moi! but would you happen to give passage to a couple of honeymooners? *blows a kiss to will turner*

will - i told you! i would never date you! *runs out of the tavern*

piggy - oh but sweetie! *runs after will but cant catch him and goes back to indy* haha, that silly boy. NOW, *whispers* i need to get out of this place, ya get my meaning?

jack - hey! you're that wench!

piggy - watch it jackie. ahaha!

[Indy]

(HEhe! YAy! Okay, I get Kermit! I was gonna bring him in later, but...Okay. I will. LAter. AndRoys comingin later to, but not untill we set sail and land somewhere. So I call Kermit and Roy, no touchie!)

Indy rose an eye brow to the lady pig and the Irish lass. She turned to the Irish girl, "You'll be fine. My ship's the thrid one out dock, maroon sails. You can put your stuff in the crewbunk room."

Miss Piggy cleared her throat.

Indy looked over to her, Faith was looking strangly at Jack. Jack looked back at Faith, "What? I was very very drunk."

"Ah-em!" Piggy cleared it again.

Indy spoke up, finally. "So what are your qualifications?"

"Sorry?"

"To be on my ship."

"Oh, Mmmm.. Ahaha," She smiled sweetly, "Well, um, I am a wonderful fashion artiste, with the right fabrics and accessories I can have your drafty capitans quarters looking like a queen's bedroom."

"Queen's bedroom, eh?" Indy thought for a moment. "How are you with a sword?"

"With a sword? Wonderful, fabulous." Piggy nodded. Indy thought for another moment.

"Alright, Miss Pig, you--"

"Miss Piggy." She correctly gruffly.

"Right, Miss Piggy, you can gather your things and follow Cat here to my ship. Lucky you two. The first girls on the ship, you get first choice of the women's quarters." Indy said smiling.

[zilla]

Samantha looked around nervously. She didn't like all the funny looking creatures. Especially the rats. She hated rats. Then she spotted people. Normal enough looking people. She walked over to them and recognized them immiediatly.
"Are-are you Jack Sparrow?"

Jack turned around."Aye I am. What's it to ya?"

Samantha swallowed hard. She had to turn them into her father.
"I've find you! Me! My father is hunting you! I have to tell him who I found!" Samantha began running toward the door calling out "FATHER!!"

[Indy]

Indy glared at the two Muppetsstanding in shock. Rizzo turnedto Gonzo and put his hands on his hips, "Nice pick dere, Gonzo."

Gonzo turned to say something back to him, but was stopped by Indy. "Miss Piggy, this is aperfect time to prove yourself. You fashion expertise will come in handy now. Take my brother to your room, make him unrecognizeable. Be quick about it, and stay in your room untill it's safe. Just in case they search the place."

"No, no, Indy, please! I'd rather han--" Faith pushed him towards Miss Piggy and followed them upstairs to the Inn part of the tavern and into Miss Piggy's room.

"And what are we do to?" Cat asked.

"You and I will have a nice drink at the bar. You two," She pointed t Gonzo and Rizzo, "will serve us and talked to later." She glared at them again and they scramled behind the bar, fetching the two women's drinks, muttering to each other:

"You're the one who picked her out!"

"How was I supose ta know she was on da wrong side?!"

"Hey," Indy reachedover and flicked Rizzo's ear, "I don't care who found her, you're both responisable. But right now, you two never met that girl, understood?"

They nodded, and casually waited for Samantha to return. Cat and Indy chatted normally drinking, andRizzo and Gonzo went about their normal duties.

Samantha ran out of the tavern and soon found her father.
"Father! Father! You'll never guess who I have found!"

Samantha's father turned to her. "Who is it? Who did you find?"

"Jack Sparrow! The people you're after!!"

Her father began to laugh. "That's not true Samantha, you know that. Now come on, we have to go."

"No! I found him! I did!!"

"Now Samantha-"
"No! Listen to me! I found him!! I found him and his crew! You have to come and look!"

"Samantha, come along, this is not the time for stories."

"You don't believe me?"
"Well not entirely, come, I found found a suitable husband for you, and I want you to meet him now."

"No."
"What?" he father said turning to her.
"No." Samantha said."I'm not leaving here. I told you I did not want you to find me a husband."
"Samantha you will do as you're told."
"No. Not this time."
With that, Samantha ran off away from her father.

[Annael]

piggy - you will now go by jackie!

jack - whatever love. why am i wearing a dress?!

piggy - a disguise, my little pet!

*jack mumbles*

Samantha ran back to the tavern, but saw none of them there. She walked around inside but still found no one.
Maybe she had never found them, but she couldn't go back to her father. Not now.

With nothing left to do, Samantha sat at an empty table, laid her head on it and began to cry.

[Annael]

piggy and "jackie" walked downstairs, jack hiding his face by a fan. he was wearing a long dress and heels too

indy - *looks at jack and spits out her drink* BWAHAHAH!

-*chokes on her drink and looks away, trying not to laugh*

jackie - *in falsetto* may i help you ma'am?

indy - no no i think we're *cracks up again* we're good!

[preciousring]

Faith stood beside Indy, a look of horror on her face, but laughing all the same.

"Faith! Get me out of here!" 'Jackie' cried.

"Let's get you back to the ship Jackie, then you can change," Faith said.

Faith, Jack, Indy, Cat, Piggy, Gonzo and Rizo all walked off towards Jack's ship so he could change.

"Now you're gonna hafta stay on the ship Jack, can't have you wanderin' around," Faith said.

Jack glared and walked down below deck. Three of the girls started laughing. Piggy just glared at them.

"Did you not like it?!" Piggy questioned.

"Oh Piggy *laughs* we loved it!" Faith choked out.
