This Role plays in the 11th century (more or less, we don't have to be too accurate). It mostly deals with England and the Normandy of that time. The plot changes, but it started with war between England and Normandy. This war was lost by King Henry of England, as William the Conqueror defeated him at Hastings. Some years later, Phillipe, son of William the Conqueror, was defeated by Will of Scotland, his former friend, and kept as prisoner in the castle. The wizard Arthur who tried helping Phillipe was forced to help William from then on by Phillipe's elder sister and William's wife Astar. After she died, William married Jessica, Phillipe's twin sister, but impregnated Colleen, a servant in the castle. Arthur promised to take Colleen's child from her, by magic, when the baby was born, sharing the birthing process himself and thereby making the child, Horatio, his son as well. Arthur stayed with William in order to stay with Horatio, after Colleen and Patrick attempted to steal the baby away. Arthur took Horatio away once again to keep him from a widely spreading plague and has yet to return...

SONJA
Crispin of Chester - (Heath Ledger) - Son of the Earl of Chester. The last remaining pupil of Samuel. He's good at heart, but sometimes he doesn't think as much as he should. He adores Samuel, and has come to like Torran almost like a sister. He's married to Grace and they have a daughter, Rose. After many months of imprisonment, his pride has been broken and he only cares about his family now, trying to find a way to feed them. After attacking the king, he can never hope to serve as a knight or even a simple soldier again.
Colleen - (Scarlett Johansen) - Formerly married to Patrick, one of the foot soldiers that used to be a castle guard in Edinburgh who recently died from the plague. She's grown up in Edinburgh Castle, never had a family but that of the other servants, but never missed them. She was rather happy as a child, loved by the older servants in the kitchen, and she grew up with almost worshiping adoration for Will. she feels slightly different about him now, but still cannot find it in her to hate him. She's usually easy-going and friendly and cares greatly about Grace. Bore the king's bastard child, Horatio, who Arthur magically transported to himself (basically half birthing the child to do so, into his arms), but the child was eventually returned to William and Jessica.
Jessica - (Mary Louise Parker) - She grew up as a servant to Lady Violet, her half sister, but has discovered her true identity as the monarch. She is in love with Will, King of England and Scotland, and married him. She lost her own children to the Prince of France, whom she was married to until he died, and cares for Horatio as if he was her own, jealous of his real mother. She will never forgive Colleen for trying to steal him. She's also feeling guilty towards Grace and tries to befriend her.
King William - (Luis Figo) - Will is both King of England and Scotland, and loves his wife Jess deeply. He was married to Grace, but that was because Astar had bewitched him. He's a rather capable king, but is quite strict and authoritative, too. Loves his son and will murder to protect him. Has a very complicated relationship with Arthur, who raised Horatio for the first five years of his life.

INDY
Arthur - (David Tennant) - He is somewhat of a grand mystery. He prides himself on it, even though there are tales of him, and they usually end with "He rode off into the sunset and we never saw him again." Donna - (Catherine Tate) - A former care-taker of an orphanage that was set a flame by a guard from the castle of Waringham. First having loved Guinevere then her elder sister Violet whom which he married and bore two children. With the help of Arthur he's been working on the few magical powers he does possess. He was imprisoned for a long time and after his release fell from a horse and suffered amnesia. Has recently devoted his life to God in a monastery. Violet and his children died from the plague.
Phillipe - (Matthew Broderick) - Formerly a shy, mouse of a stable boy, who discovered his noble birth and became king. Since then his life has seemingly passed before his own eyes, marrying his wife Ariel, William's sister, and seeing the birth of his three children. King Will overthrew him, marrying his elder sister Astar, and then his twin sister Jessica after Astar's death, and locking his family away in a tower to be forgotten. The plague has taken his wife and all his children, his eldest only 5, leaving the former king of France hollow and desolate.
Horatio - (Elijah Wood) - 5 years old, due to Arthur's time travel, the reasoning of which remains questionable and known only to Colleen. The prince is a bright boy, skilled in magic, inherited from Arthur and fully views Arthur as his father. She raised Horatio as her own with him and even Arthur cannot deny she was anything less than a loving mother. Arthur escaped, with Horatio, five years later from the village Regina created, casting a spell that had slowed time in the outside world. Arthur believes his protection spells around the castle will stop her from finding them...
Omin - (James Nesbitt) - The man who betrayed Arthur and Regina so many years ago, has taken a position in Will's court as the chamberlain, having various positions as a courtier ever since he was given Regina in return for betraying magic users. When Rosalind was born, Regina wanted nothing to do with the child, too angry over Arthur saving her life and in turn becoming no better than Omin in her eyes. Omin raised Rosalind as his own and when Rosalind shunned magic, Omin knew he had to become a better man, to be worthy of her calling him Father. He has since ceased the practice of dark magic and magic in general, not wishing to tempt himself again.
Rosalind - (Ginnifer Goodwin) - The child of Regina and Arthur, only recently has Rosalind discovered the true origin of her parents and Omin's marriage to Regina. She still considers Omin her father, as he raised her as well as he could in Regina's emotional absence. Seeing the addictive power dark magic had over her mother, she refused to study it, terrified she might become her mother one day. Rosalind left home to find her own way, but remained in contact with Omin. Eventually Omin and Regina divorced, when Omin decided to turn his life around. Rosalind still has a deep magical presence, animals are draw to her naturally, as well as people. This is usually simply contributed to her beauty and kindness. Omin suggested to the king that she would be a perfect nanny for Horatio.
Robin - (Danny Kaye) - 34, A travelling court jester, Robin seeks to make a name for himself in the court of the king, hearing the rumors of "unrest" in the palace, particularly between the king and known wizard of the castle. He hopes to settle some tension in the palace and gain a steady job as the sweep of the plague had taken it's toll on his former employers, his family and nearly himself. When he was younger he traveled with a circus but later became a cobbler, taking an apprenticeship when he fell in love with the cobbler's daughter. They were married shortly after and had a daughter. They also had a son, who died as an infant. The plague took his wife and nearly his apprentice Peter and himself, before Zelda found Regina to help.
Zelda - (Jane Levy) - 17, Robin's daughter, who survived the worst of the plague by her apprenticeship in an apothecary outside of the infected city. She's independent and loves her father very much. When the plague hit, she received a letter from her mother, telling her to stay with her employer and to not come into the city to find them. She was devastated, but did as her mother asked and helped her employer administer aide to the infected. They managed to find her family before her mother's passing. Zelda did her best to heal Robin and Peter, but knowing they were too far gone, she sought out another source...
Peter - (Daniel Radcliffe) - 14, He was saved from an orphanage by Robin and his wife after Zelda left for her apprenticeship. Jean convinced Robin he needed an apprentice of his own as a cobbler, but he knew she secretly wanted a son as well. Peter cared for Jean and Robin a great deal, but was reluctant to call them mother and father. Neither requested it of him, only letting him know, if he felt the urge to, they would be more than happy. They both seemed to understand that Peter's life had not been easy or emotionally fulfilling, to which he was grateful. He was too ill himself to remember Jean's death, but when he had been told of it, he cried harder than he had over his own mother's death as a child. And for once, he had someone else to comfort him.
